How many feet of power cord is needed to run from the battery to the back set of a SCrew, to power an amp? I'm thinking the best place to install is behind the seat. Probably going with this head unit :
While I'm not a big Pioneer fan, thinking of using their slimline sub under the seat. Not one bad review, so I'm thinking this powered by an Alpine or Kenwood amp.

im not too sure yet about how long the power cord will have to be. im looking to mount both amps under the seats as well. i cant put my subs in just yet, im waiting for my box to come in. i had to order one because every shop here in el paso charges an arm and a leg for one.

I installed both of my amps behind the back seat. I would recommend at least 18 feet and preferably 20 feet for the power cable to give you a little flexibility for the install.

Haha! I laugh every time I replace my factory speakers. They look (and sound) retarded. I don't know why Ford doesn't offer something better. I have replaced every set of factory speakers in every vehicle I have owned for 20 years. Don't even get me started on their head units.
