Are those the new FX-r 3.0's? I was about to retrofit my Recon heads with the Morimoto Mini H1 projectors since they are a direct fit minus cutting the bracket off the old projector from the Recons. Have you used those at all? Im curious to how the two compare now.

No, I used the FX-R version that was available just prior to the 3.0...not sure which version this is known as.

I'm currently working on a set F150 headlights that are using the MH1 projectors. I will be sure to get photos once they are completed.

Sweet man! let me know if you get a chance to compare the two as far as light output and whatnot goes too. Ill base my decision off that lol.

Default Lariat Grille

Just finished mine. I painted the inner grate and emblem Tux Black. Not a huge project or crazy aftermarket job, but I think it turned out good. I bought a Platinum grille that I don't think I'll be using, so I had an extra and didn't mind experimenting...

Too bad the truck wasn't clean in the before, but I think it looks a lot better in black...

That looks great! I really like the chrome/black contrast. Did you get your wheels/tires mounted yet?

Thanks! I bought a Platinum grill and was going to paint the bezel tux black and leave the grates 'chrome', but when I got it I didn't like the brushed look of the grille with the chrome. I had only seen that setup with painted bumpers and it looks great, My truck is going to be black an chrome, so the flat grates weren't cutting it for me. I thought I'd try this before sinking a lot more money in the other grille. I like it a lot. I may be done with grilles...

Thanks for asking about the wheels. I got them mounted on Friday, sort of... They sent me the wrong lug nuts so I can't put on my center caps yet , but here's a couple of pictures of what I have so far.

I was really surprised at how much they stick out. I went with the +20 off set and it's really not THAT much wider than the stock tire. I went with the +20 OS because I figured I'd end up with a 305 at some point and didn't want the tires out past the running boards. I think they look fine for now.
