First, the OEM horns are FIAMM Freeway Blasters, rated at 139dB. There is a High tone and a Low tone (A and a B).

I have one Stebel (air) horn .... *AND* a set/pair of FIAMM Freeway Blasters on my Honda ST1300. I affectionately call them my: "INcontinental horns". When I push the button, the BDC (Brain Dead Cager) next to me either 1-spills their coffee in their lap; or 2-experiences incontinence. Sounds like a train.

What I did on my F150 though was make a new bracket and add 2 more FIAMMs. $30.
How much louder was adding two more?

It is noticeably louder, but really not by too much.

The "effect" comes into play with the sound of an array of horns. A much fuller sound. Imagine 2 cars sounding off at the same time...

I did not want to install an air compressor system and wanted to keep my horn legal but a bit louder so I am trying the wolo 619

I installed it in conjunction with one of the oem horns and am happy with the sound and decibels.

I did not cut any wires and used the existing plug connectors by using solderless pin connectors to plug into the oem horn plug, they fit perfectly and the oem horn continues to use its plug.

I modified the bracket slightly to hold the wolo 619.

Did you keep the high or low oem horn? I have the big bad max and was thinking about adding one of the oem horns but never did.
