I tried on the US site using a random zip code and you can still chose the e locker as a stand alone option. I built a 302a XLT SCAB 4x4 with a 5 liter and no off road package like the op. It's a $470 option for 3.55's with the locker. So no, like my truck the off road package is not required. Give it a whirl again lol. You choose it under the exterior options selection under rear axle ratio.

The option pkgs. are probably different in Canada. I built his truck (XLT 5.0 4x4 SCAB w/302A pkg.) on the 2014 Build and Price site and the only way to get the e-locker was to add the Off Road pkg. .....Just add 04257 zip code.

My stx and my buddies xlt without off road package both have the locking diff. So it is definitely a stand alone option.

I know it is now that I realized the build and price site isn't working right for me. It's not giving me any rear end options to chose from. Not that it matters because it's the 2014 B&P site anyway.
