I love the ARE caps but they will not guarantee a color match with the white platinum metallic tri-color paint. Meaning, what is delivered is final.

Is this true?
I sent them my gas cap door, so they could match the White Tri-coat paint. They did a fantastic job, its dead on. There are pics in this thread:

I have had no warranty experience with ARE - I had a problem with the Elock that I ended up tracing down myself to fix since my dealer was worthless once I handed over the money for the cap.

I got my Leer 100XR installed last week. It's on my '13 FX4 with a 6.5' bed. I installed BedTred myself before the Leer was installed. The cap includes 'win-doors' on each side, removable sliding front window, keyless entry, the Wilderness package (Thule Tracker II roof rack, carpeted interior, lockable gun case attached to roof, dual dome lights, and the clothes hanger was replaced by a fishing rod holder). Fit and finish is superb.

looks pretty good man.

the first week of aug, i got a leer 100XL installed. went with keyless entry, tinted windows, removable front untinted slider window, 12volt hub, and the thule roof rails(only)

sterling grey too.

the only problem i've had is the weather. it got so cold then it warmed up, that the snow welded the back window shut.

if they only made these canopies with a rear wiper for the rear door, i would be in heaven. the snow buildup happens quite a bit due to the back draft when driving. but, who ever looks in the rearview anyways lol.

They look good. Plan on pulling a RV trailer so a cap is almost a must.

two problems with that cap....

1) mandatory 6.5ft box

2) good luck trying to park at malls or underground parking.

usually max height is 6'6", which is two inches lower than your radio attenna.

I saw that! I like it, I've got plans to tackle it this weekend! Also bought a roof rack to install too.

Which did you get?

I hesitated at the $300 ARE wanted for the built in rails. I really dont think I will ever have a need for one, but you never know. Curious on what you bought and how you will install it.
