I got tired of searching cl ten times a day and bought a new a.r.e. MX topper. Thought I'd trade looks for function with the taller type for camping and such but I like it more than I thought I would.

I kind of ordered it through the dealership as a tag on to the financing, so I really didn't have a whole lot of input. It's already been back in to have the sliding front window put in. I would like to have a few other things from some of the packages they put on their toppers as well, but don't feel like trying to do those mods myself. As far as the back window, I'm pretty sure the hinge & latch setup is completely different. I haven't verified this at a Leer Dealer, but if It appeared that easy, I would have done it already.
Edit: the one I am contemplating going for is actually two models up.

Yours is the 100XR. The only difference between the two at their base set up is the rear window.
Careful with ARE z series. Bought one returned it. Many many paint imperfections. ARE stated that if there are less than 5 imperfections within 1 square inch, it meets an acceptable standard for them.
Many do not have my issue..they did offer to replace it but told me upfront. They all have paint imperfections. .so I returned it. Some spots were 3/8 diameter. .
