Angry LED Tail lights

I ordered and received a set of LED Tails for my 09 Platinum and found
when I received them that the connector on the new lights is completely
different from the connectors on the truck wiring. The sellers (moto-innovation) isn't helping me. Has anyone else had this problem and if
so how did you solve it short of cutting into the truck wiring harness??
Are there adapters available for these??

If they were listed as plug and play tell the seller flat out you want a refund and a prepaid label to return them. I wouldn't cut into the wires to hookup tail lights when there are others out there that just plug in. If the seller doesn't respond dispute the charges.

Maybe take a closer look at the connectors. If im not mistaken the aftermarket connectors fit int the stock connectore just like a bulb would fit in. Maybe also take a pic and post it here to make sure....but i if i remember when i hooked mine up it was a little strage..but it worked.

As I recall - when I went to install mine as well, I thought there was an adaptor needed, but it turned out that I was trying to disconnect the stock lights at wrong place ... it ended up being a lot easier than I thought to connect them. Unfortunately i do not have pictures of it, but the connection from the old to the new ballasts were pretty easy - I remember having to pull the ballasts off the new taillights and relocating them to behind the light housing to make them fit.

Good luck.

Would anyone mind taking a focused shot of their truck with either the black or red tails, and/or the projectors from a bit more of a distance so we can see what the whole truck looks like with them installed?

I ordered the red LED tails yesterday. Probably two weeks before they get here. Painting my headlights HD stype today.

Excellent, thanks!

Just putting my DIY HD headlights back in at the moment. Those look like the same LED tails I ordered. If I have any troubles with humidity or whatever having pulled my lights apart, I'll consider buying those projectors.

Nice truck!

In fact, the resistance changes and is less, kinda like when you have a burnt out bulb.... by signal indicator is flashing fast now that they have been installed... and the cause is solely that of less resistance on the circuit. anyone have a fix for that? or should i just invest in earplugs?
