I know you're talking aftermarket here, but I swapped my factory chrome/red taillights for the 4x4/raptor tail lights and installed these LED's
I can't even describe how bright they are. I really should've taken a side-by-side picture in the middle of the install but I was too eager. HUGE difference

Recon is definitely the highest quality aftermarket light...but they are pricey as stated above.
I have a set of aftermarket LED's on my F150 that came with the truck. Wished I knew the brand because they are really nice lights and have never given me a problem.
