Or the Lowcountry of South Carolina (where I live)...? Hell, San Antonio was more humid than Houston...and hotter. Lived in Houston and SA...

I know you're talking aftermarket here, but I swapped my factory chrome/red taillights for the 4x4/raptor tail lights and installed these LED's

I can't even describe how bright they are. I really should've taken a side-by-side picture in the middle of the install but I was too eager. HUGE difference

Used Forscan to disable the hyperflash

Recon is definitely the highest quality aftermarket light...but they are pricey as stated above.


I have a set of aftermarket LED's on my F150 that came with the truck. Wished I knew the brand because they are really nice lights and have never given me a problem.

I grew up in Brownsville, TX. Southernmost tip of TX right on the Mexican border and on the coast. South Padre Island is about 20 minutes East of Brownsville.

If you take your trash out at the end of an average driveway, you'll come back inside sweaty regardless of what time it is.

SA can be hotter at times for sure but I've never felt that the humidity is higher in SA than Houston.
