I've been searching for a set of switchbacks for the front turn signals and came across the hp24 bulbs from diode dynamics on stage 3's website. They claim to be only for 97-2012. Wouldn't they be the same as the 2013 and 14? Do they not use the same bulbs?

Impressed with the output of the bulbs but upon installing them I tried using prewired resistors with a socket to prevent splicing any factory wire and the bulb doesn't fit. It seems to be a bit wider compared to the factory bulb. Is it possible to shave a little plastic off the ends to shrink it to the size of the socket hole? I also found it weird that each set of sockets had 2 resistors (4 total) instead of just 2 which are included in the diodes kit.
