Hi everyone
I just purchased a 2014 f150 fx4-126k
it had some bulbs out which I replaced but I noticed the led’s in the mirror have only 1/2 of the led chips are working.
does anyone know if this light is replaceable or do you have to replace the entire mirror.
Also does the front of the mirror light up or is the yellow lens just a reflector?

Yes they are replaceable but will require the mirror to be taken apart. There’s some videos on YouTube showing how.
The one on the front of the mirror is just a reflector.

One of the more popular mods is to replace these with smoked lights as the kits replace the front reflector with lights as well.

 

F150leds has sells an led strip you can put into the orange reflector if you want to keep the reflector also.
I went that route in 2015 and they are still working.
