There is no cutoff with halogen and LED bulbs, cutoff are on projectors.
Not necessarily true. My '08 Accord reflector housings did have a cutoff line. It is not a crisp light cutoff like a projector where there is no light above the cutoff as there is light bleed above the cutoff but the line was there.

Some people do not like projectors because of the cutoff. It does take some getting used to.

That has to do with the housing design on that car. The housings on f150s are **** with hids or leds in the reflective housing. I put hids in my headlights for 1 day. I drove to work and drove home and pulled them out and threw them in my garage. I built my headlights because of that reason.

We find out the gender in 2 weeks. I'm pretty damn excited about it either way!

And wise decision. I'm in the same boat. It's out first so I have no idea what we are really in for financially.

I swear the retrofit guys are some sort of cult. No one is saying that retrofits aren't awesome, but if you're not in the US where parts are cheap, and if you don't have $1000+ to drop, LEDs will give you a whiter beam and not glare anything like HIDs. Hey, if somebody wants to send me a pair of retro's for $250 I'll pay you $500, but that isn't reality!

$1000+? Well let's see... I could've had FX-R's plus XSB halos installed for $480 USD. Translates to about $697 CAD. Combined shipping would have to be over 300 CAD, which is about 206 USD. considering that, plus the fact you could dump the halos or degrade the projector... Even in your case, you could keep it under 1000.

It's not a cult; its more of just knowing and seeing the truth about doing a proper retro. You really can't go back after having them.
