We'll see if they are any good. Worst case, I send them back and try some different ones. I also ordered amber LED side marker lights (bulb 168/194). I'll post pics once I install.
anxiously awaiting your feedback/opinion on these.

They apparently shipped yesterday but the data hasn't loaded into the USPS tracking site so I'm not sure where they are coming from. I've taken my headlights off a few times already so the install should be pretty quick once they arrive. Now that we've fallen back for "daylight savings", it's dark in Wisconsin at 4:30 so I'll have plenty of time to test them out . If they are good, I'll get another set for my fiancé's Edge, though she has projector housing so will likely work better in her car.

I'll be sure to post before and after pictures and try my best to show the cutoff/light pattern.

After 3 months with LED bulbs in my regular headlights, here is what I have found:

The light is good, but uneven.

It took a couple of adjustments, but I do not get bright lighted on low beam.

Low beam could be better, but it is no worse than my halogens.

High beams are terrific. They throw light far and wide.

The best part is that the light is very reflective. Signs, animal eyes, road debris are illuminated quite well, especially on high beam.

The thing I like least is that in rainy weather at night, the light's range is worse. But my halogen fog lights help fill in the empty spot in front of the truck.

Overall, I am pleased with them. I'm sure that projectors would work better, but I'm not up for spending that kind of money right now. I do wish Ford would drop the premium price, design a proper housing, and get LEDs in all their vehicles. It's worth the difference.

Your assessment is about what I expect. I plan to do the same and keep the halogens in my fog lamps, assuming the LED bulbs are not total crap.

What LED bulbs do you have / how many lumens?

Default LED headlights

I ordered mine from Steve/Jeff at www.southeastoverland.com. They'll be arriving today and hopefully I can get them installed between the rain. I'll be up in the Milwaukee/Lannon area Friday night and Saturday.

Sadly, they do scatter a minor bit. BUT they don't seem to glare other drivers much. I like them. And they match my putco fogs .

PS. Mine are brightsource brand for anyone wondering.

What does your light pattern look like at night? Maybe it's the picture, but something doesn't seem right. Appears all of the light is being focused into the top corner closest to the grill on each side? I looks like there is a lot of "dead" area where no light is reflected at all? Again, could be the picture...

I like mine as well, have them in both trucks. I credit them for saving me murdering a few Bambis, and dodging the previous nights carnage of dead bodies on the road. Well worth the expense, IMO.
