That is what I was wondering. It takes no time to install. Don't know why you wouldn't go ahead and plug it in. Definitely more hassle to remove light just to plug it in.

I'm doing it like that as an experiment to try and figure out if there is any correlation of build date, and the flickering problem. Mine is a '12, and I ordered the harness with the LEDs, just in case. So far, the OP, cutigers08, needed them, and I haven't.

No, the harness is not cumbersome at all.

I didn't try mine w/o the Canbus. Got them free so why not use them.

Kinda off topic but anyone else break the retaining tabs on the stock plug that "lock" the bulb in? And I also had to discard the red bushing. No way in hell I was gonna get the bulb in the housing and turned with that extra bushing. That was with Silverstars too, not just the LEDs

We want to thank everyone for your great response to this sale. We especially want to thank the OP for his purchase and posting here.

We are going to slowly start winding down this sale. We have been contacted by a few individuals who said they would purchase in a week or two, so we won't close the sale until Saturday, August 15th.

Thanks!
Steve

Melect, quick question. Did you just install the bulbs, or did you need to install the harness as well?

Is there a consensus on whether or not the "high output" LED's are leaps and bounds better than just the regular output LEDs? Very interested and if its only a few bucks more for a lot better light output..why not do it?

I installed the harness just because Steve sent it alone with my lights , I didn't check if they would work without them , If you guys want me to check if it makes a difference with or without , I can give it a try tomorrow,

Don't get me wrong , I'm satisfied with the output of the regular LED ,but I think if i would do this again i would go HO.
