The light spectrum is different on LEDs and it is less effective in cutting through those environmental conditions like the old Incan technology.
LED lights are not as effective in headlights/fog lights/driving lights as incans. Ever see a car with LED lowbeams or highbeams?? |

Someone that like to experiment should consider putting an LED in one side only and make a comparison test at night to see which one emits the most light down the road.
The reflector may have something to do with how well an LED works compared to a regular bulb. |
