LED Door Sill Kickplates: Purchase & Install info, Wiring Diagrams, Warranty, Samples

Why don't you guys just wire them to the third brake light...Well, really the cargo lights. They come in whenever the door is open, or whenever you unlock the truck.
Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't care if all the door sills came on at the same time if I only opened one door since the dome light(s) would turn on and the other doors would be closed and covering the other lit up door sills. Just a thought
That's what I ended up doing with LED strips I installed in the footwells, just easier than finding out which wires are which

i said the "3rd brake light" mainly for location. You'd really wire them up to the cargo lights that are on each side of the 3rd brake light. The cargo lights come on whenever a door is opened or the unlock button is pressed on the key fob.
