Default LED bars installed - not too sure though

So I finally went ahead and convinced myself to install the light bar setup on my truck for a different look. Went with the 50" curved on the roof and the 40" straigh on the front bumper using custom mounts.
First thing i didnt like was how chrome-ish they looked on my truck and didnt flow with the black so I decided to use a light film to darken them. Look improved but I was still unsure.
Started the truck and as sooon as I reached 30mph the windnoise was terrible. Read a few posts about adjusting the angle of the roof bar or putting some kind of insulaiton ont he lower fins but really not too sure about the overall look.
Installed the flush mount rigids on the rear bumper as well and tinted those too, sorry no pics yet.

Still on the fence about the whole setup, truck just looked cleaner without them. Feedback appreciated.

If you Really need the light great, but otherwise.... Like you said they look odd on our trucks.

I think the lower mount looks good, not so sure about the top bar. Your truck looks great without either too though. Can you fit either of the two behind the grill? That way you keep some lumens but keep the clean look too... Pretty easy to mount behind the grill if it will fit, I just used a couple 90° brackets.

thanks for the feedback guys, i will remove the roof light bar and see how that looks, or probably see if the 40" lower bar will fit behind the grill.
Sucks to get excited about this mod and then it doesnt turn up as expected... oh well at least i got it out of my system now

You need the proper mounts for the 50" roof bar. Whatever mounts you used they are waaaaaay too high! What brand lights are they? Most well known brands offer mounts that keep the light at cab level. Clean look and little or no noise.

if you were in the USA, leave it in a parking lot and probably wouldn't be on there for long.

They are cool but really aren't practical. Between the wind noise and the glare on the hood I wouldn't ever mount one on the roof. Behind the grill yes but never outside, just asking to get them stolen. Sad that we have to think about **** getting stolen when modding.

I'm about to install a 50" and 38" light bar. Was gonna have the 50" professionally installed but they want too much money. I've YouTubed how to do it but wanted to check with you how hard the install was. You said you were gonna remove it so did you not have to drill into your roof?
