Use a small tube of black rtv silicone all on the gasket ..I love my recon..even tho it sticks out some..my paper was loose also..and use 3m quick splices not to just hack your wires off..even being smoked the white lights are surprisingly bright

Yeah no complaints about the lighting so long as they continue to hold up. Yes I noticed the sticking out unlike the OEM that's flush. Might silicone the gap in black. Not sure what you're referring to with the gasket. I didn't use 3M but I did use proper splices then wrapped in tape.

Just to put a bead on the gasket and fill the gap afterwords

Here it is. Sorry there's only one pic of the actual lights, and not even the brake lights at that. iPhone doesn't really show the light well anyway

Bringing this back! I just purchased the Anzo. Is it absolutely necessary to cut off the original harness or could I, say Posi-Tap, the lines?

I didn't cut mine with my Recon. I used three quick connectors and worked fine. Would have been easier to cut but wanted to be able to go back to stock easily if needed. I think they were the blue ones if I remember correctly.
