Default leasing: 13 limited or a 14 fx/plat/kr

Thinking about trading in my 12xlt Texas edition 5.0 that I bought, 26k miles- excellent condition : tint/bed liner/side moldings(ptm)/upgraded Alpine speakers & sub w 5 channel amp/clazzio blk on blk leather seat covers.

Thinking about switching to a lease option:

Dealer has 8 specials to choose from 37k to 44k

1 leftover 13 limited ruby red / 4wd & decked out

or various 14 fx4/KR/ Plat

since it would be a lease how would you go?

limited is a eco the others could be a eco or 5,0

I have driven the eco but not for any length of time / Love the 5.0 that I have now.

Go with what you want. My guess is the 3 motors are all gonna chime in... eco, 5.0, 6.2.... they all gonna tell ya why theirs is the way to go. Can't go wrong with any...it's what you want or need

I was in the same boat I wanted a 13 limited more then anything but got a 14 platinum instead... lease guy ran the numbers with 3k down the limited was 760/month and the '14 platinum was 497/month why that is I have no idea the lease guy just said you pay out the *** to lease a leftover but man I sure wanted that red leather!

Any reason as to why you are trading in the 2012? Just curious about the thought process for a truck that has not significantly changed with this model year. I have considered trading my 2013 but only because I should have gotten 4wd. But the numbers have not made sense to me.
I can see that the models you are looking at probably have significant option differences then the XLT.

Engine choice should be decided on how you will use the truck. If your 5.0 met your needs, why not stick with it. It's cheaper and if it works for you, even better. I traded up from an 11 to a 13 and there are nice updated like Awd and hid lights, etc.
