Default Leaking rear shock

Left rear shock leaving puddles of oil in my previously unspoiled driveway. Only 7000 miles on truck. Never been off road and have yet to tow with this one.

I have never seen a shock leak oil like this. Any ideas?

I had a passenger rear shock replaced too. Had the truck parked for about three weeks in the garage before I noticed it. Left me a nice 16" stain on 3 yr old concrete too. Guess it's gonna happen sooner or later right?

Or now is the time to switch to an upgraded aftermarket version, the rears are easy to change and can be done on your back in the driveway (I did it!)

I need two rears too. That's a first for me: leaking shock. Wtf. 14k. I've broken shocks, bent them, and had them just wear out or get rusty but I've never had one just spring aleak in my garage, until now.

Full set 890-mile-old OEM shocks for sale: $50 (to cover S&H). I might split up the pairs, front and rear.

PM me if interested...
