Lead Frame Problem

How's she goin' eh?

My truck experienced all the symptoms of the lead frame failure, but threw no codes. The dealer re-flashed the PCM, and said that should clear up the problems.
During my 20 minute ride home the speedo dropped to zero, info center numbers disappeared and the became dashes. I then stopped at a major intersection. With
my foot on the brake, the engine rpms revved up and pushed the truck halfway into the right lane of traffic. I immediately tried to avoid oncoming traffic, and floored it.
The truck instantly went into 5th gear (limp home mode?), earning me rude gestures of the motorists already in that lane. Now, the wrench lights flashed on...
Long story short... error codes P0720, P0722, and P0731. The dealer replaced my lead frame, 11 qts of tranny fluid, and the plastic connector.
FORD PAID FOR IT! There is a TSB for this problem... TSB 16-0008. Good Luck!

UPDATE:
A stated before, my truck's VIN was not included in the lead frame TSB. The dealer told my the repair would be about $850.
I got on the Ford website and started a chat with a service rep. My complaint was that my truck has the same problem, same transmission as the others and it has very low miles.
After some back and forth, they offered to participate in payment of the repair but wouldn't tell me how much. The dealer called me and said Ford will pay for anything over $500. So, Ford ended up paying about 30%.
Still not very happy, but it's better than nothing I guess. Ford knows they have a problem.

Ever since I had the recall done, it made my problem worse. Right off the bat if my truck is off and I go to take off, it will be stuck in 1st gear and I’ll have no speedometer. Couple days ago it took me 30 minutes of turning the truck on and off to fix the problem.
Today while I was parked at a stop light, I lost my speedo and the trans was stuck in 1st. I realized I could make it shift into 2nd if I move the shift lever to 2. I wanted to investigate further so I put it in M and surprisingly I could get it into 3rd. Once I do that, the speedometer comes back most of the time and I have a working transmission without turning it off and on.
I can’t wait to fix this issue once and for all next week. I’ve decided to supply the parts (lead frame, foam insert, transmission filter & gasket) to my dealer and pay them for labour. If anyone is wondering, all parts on amazon were $137 and the dealer is charging me $360 for labour. It might be a little more since I’m not supplying them any transmission fluid.

5.0nly, Can you post a link to those parts on Amazon please.

Ford AL3Z-7G276-D ($106)
Motorcraft FT-188 ($18.21)
Ford BL3Z-7A191-C ($14.41)
Amazon did not have the foam insert for the lead frame so go to your local dealer and get it from there. It was a couple of dollars. Part #: FL3Z-14B167A.

Update
Went to the dealer today to pick up my truck. I was initially quoted $360 + 12% tax and ended up paying $540 in total. I supplied all parts (lead frame, filter & gasket) minus fluids so I’m happy.
The truck is now shifting like brand new. I can’t believe how much enjoyable it is to drive now vs. before. After I experienced the lead frame failure for the first time, the transmission always shifted rough and clunky. Now it’s smooth as butter! Very happy.
Edit: for those of you ordering the lead frame on amazon.com, Ruxer Ford includes the foam seal insert with it so no need to purchase one separately.
