Default Lariat supply

I am in the market to purchase a Lariat 4x4 screw Black on Black. It seems the inventories on this trim level have diminished recently. Does anyone know the reason, have they reduced production?

Not sure where you are, but here in Dallas/Ft Worth area, there are over 150 Lariats within 15 miles of me at 4 dealers. Try going to Ford.com and search dealer inventory by your zip code. When I bought mine in Dec 09, the Ford site inventory was pertty much on. Much closer than the dealers own site.

I just bought my black on black Lariat 4x4 SCrew! I love it. I found what I wanted on the Ford Site and went to my local dealer and he went and picked it up for me!!

Also, if you go into the dealer with a pricing plan and an agreement they can use their software to find exactly what you want and maybe they can go and get it for a good deal.

FWIW on the local dealer sites it was 50/50 if their inventory was accurate. I agree, Ford's site seems more up to date.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the replies. I have been looking in the Houston area. It is pretty close and a couple of their dealerships have given me the best quotes. When i first started looking about 2 months ago it seems like there was a lot more in inventory than currently. I really am only interested in the black on black. I also like the black platinum but am sold on the black interior.
Thanks for the pics. Thats the exact truck i want.
