Default Why no supercrew + 8ft bed?

Went to the Orange County Auto Show today and checked out F150's with my uncle. What he'd really love to get is an ecoboost supercrew with an 8ft bed, but Ford doesn't offer it. Anybody know why? He's resigned to getting a supercab with an 8ft bed, but it's disappointing.

LOL, the thought had occured to me, but in and of itself that doesn't seem like a reason not to offer it

It's yet another frame to engineer and produce for a small market. (Screw 8ft longbox 1/2 ton)
Cost vs benefit.

Driving it would require a bus license

I'll step up and say that the consumer doesn't want it. I know that they're out there, but when was the last time you saw a F250 super crew long box? Very rare. Another point I'd like to make is how rare the super crew and 6'6" box is. If you are searching for them, they are pretty hard to find. I wanted one and there were none (optioned the way I wanted) in our area so I had to order one.

The F150 is already ahead of its competition here... As far as I know its the only 1/2 ton you can get in a full crew cab with the 6.5' bed.
