Default Large Ford dealers on the east coast?

I'm searching and searching for a new truck. Looking for some help from you folks. What are the names of some large dealerships that you know carries Supercrews with the 6.5' bed.

I know none here in Jacksonville Fl keep any in stock. I'd be willing to go as far north as Philly or NJ and as far west as Louisana. Including Miss, Alabama, NC, SC, VA, TN.

There is one dealer that I know of in the DC area, Ted Britt, that always has a good selection of Long Beds.

In the DC metro area, try Koons Auto. They have four Ford stores here, three in VA and one in Baltimore. Their inventory is online at www.koons.com

might also try Darcars here, you can Google it for the URL.

You know, you can also search dealer stock from Ford's website, pull up window stickers and look at the wheelbase to tell SB from LB. Takes some time, it's how I found my 2012 though....

Cowles Ford just south of DC in Prince William County is a pretty good size and has been good to me for 2 vehicles now.

+1 for Koons Ford. I traveled from upstate NY (about 6hrs away) to purchase my '12 Fx4 last month. It was well worth it and they took excellent care of me. Gave me a great deal that was too hard to pass up for a 6hr drive. They are great people and very friendly. Perhaps if you decide to do business with them you could use me as a referral and I may be able to save you some money and you might even be able to get me some money. It's a win win

Btw I went to Koons Sterling Ford in Sterling VA.

I shopped Koons too but ended up purchasing my '12 SCREW boost FX4 at Sheehy in Gaithersburg, MD. They gave me the same great price but also gave me 4k more for trade on my '05 Titan. Nick Constantine, the commercial sales manager was super. Highly recommend.

Fred Beans Ford in Doylestown has a pretty big inventory, they are 45min outside of Philly. I can't stand them but if you are just buying a truck and never deal with them again so what? Also. John Kennedy Ford in Feasterville Pa, 20min from Philly. Good luck!

Thanks for all the dealer names! I checked out Koons site online, it does seem that they have some decent discounts available. Ted Britt does the same.

My only concern is that I will need to order my truck and I'm not sure the pricing would be as good.

Knot, Fort Mill Ford in South Carolina has two Ingot Silver 4x4 Lariat's with the 6'5" bed. Got a decent price on them also. Their not a hugh dealership, but do have some nice trucks.

I would stay away from Fred Beans dealerships. They don't deal and try to low ball the trade in. Agree with John Kennedy - like Fred Beans, they have multiple dealerships in the Philly suburbs and can pull any truck from their stores for you. Check their internet prices - very close to invoice.

Sorry to hear JAX dealers inventory sucks. I plan to move to my house down there in the next few years. Guess I'll just come back to Philly when I need to buy a truck.
