Brake squeak when cold
I have a 2014 XLT with 12000 km that has quite loud brake squeaking when I first start driving and apply the brakes. I happens mostly when driving for the first time in the day, although lately its been happening even after being parked for an hour or less. I always goes away once the brakes have been applied a few times. The brake pads still look like new, so its not the wear sensor.

Ya, mine squeal like a pig! It's pretty annoying, my pads look fine too, going to mention when at dealer next. Sounds like a junker is coming down the road. I just hit 30k miles

This definitely sounds like it's right up the alley of the techs at your dealer. What's the year of your F-150? I'll see how to best assist on my end.

I'll look into this and see how to best assist on my end. Please send me a PM with the VIN, dealer, your full name, and your best daytime phone number.

My rears do the same thing every time when leaving from a cold start. Symptom has been present since delivery.

Mine too. 2014 FX4 Ecoboost SuperCrew. Everyone looks when I pull from a gas pump or leaving work ! I thought the E-brake was sticking but I haven't used it in weeks and still LOUD ! 41000 miles but previous owner said it was the same with him and Ford said it was "normal".
