Default Knock/Slack on take off

My 2011 Platinum F-150 now has about 19k miles on it. About 2k miles ago, I started feeling a knock/slack on take off from a dead stop. Not sure if it is coming from the transmission, driveshaft or rear end.. It seems to be getting worse and I now feather it on takeoff and cringe everytime it does it. Anyone else have this issue? Im taking it in next week to get it looked at...

Thanks

Mine seems to do it when i don't come to a complete stop. I figure it's the torque converter unlocking, but if it's from a dead stop it should be a different story.

Default mine too!

sorry to hear that you're having this issue, but holy crap, i am having the same!
i cringe almost every time i stop and take off because i feel a jolt in something I dont know if its the transmission or driveshaft or what. It shifts very smoothly between gears so hopefully its not the transmission. Please let me know what the dealer says. I still have about 5k miles left on my CPO warranty so I want to get to the bottom of this soon. I have 2010 FX2 SuperCrew.

Take it in. It is the slip yoke and there is a fix from Ford. They just did my 2010 screw and it's like a new truck! I've got 60,000+ and just went out of warranty.

TSB 12-7-13. Search slip yoke. The parts took about four weeks to get in.

Also ask for the reflash TSB for the tranny. I don't remember the number, but it's been around long enough that all the dealers should be aware.

Two-piece driveshaft uses the slip yoke TSB
2wd uses the reflash TSB

Mine has been lubed 3 times and it only lasts a few hundred miles for me. Ford is now telling me I'm screwed. Good luck. It's wonderful when people ride in my brand new truck and the first stop sign they all say "what the hell was that?"

Mine was done a couple of thousand miles ago and still doing fine. The kit included a boot as well, not just a simple relube.
