Default King Ranch Question

I would put this in the care/detailing section but it seems like not many people visit it often and I want to ask people with the new king ranch leather.

Anyways I was condition my leather today and I guess I scrubbed a little to hard on the console lid and the lip of it looks like the color of the leather just wiped off as if there was a clear coat on it. I was just wondering how to fix it. Thanks
Btw I was using KR conditioner.

I think I would take that back to the dealer. If you were using the product recommended, something seems wrong. Good luck.

Typically I apply conditioner with my bare hand or with a plastic glove on. No abrasion nor does the conditioner get soaked up by the applicator.

Btw, looks like our trucks are twins in Tallahassee (black/tan KR).

It appears you have an 09+ which is semi-aniline dyed leather. This is a water based dye with a protective clear coat. You will need to dye that area to fix the concern.

Look at this thread which I followed and mine came out very well. Just watch your stitching or find a new lid

In the future I prefer old fashion saddle soap in the tin. I have had no troubles with it.
