Default Kinda dissapointed in the AC seats. What yall think?

It just started getting warm enough to use the AC seats, and I'm a little disappointed in them. On the max setting, I can hardly feel them even with my hand pressed against the seat. I feel like I wouldn't feel a damn thing at the 1 or 2 setting. Anyone else have this problem? Is it maybe something I should get checked out under warranty. What gives?

On my '12 FX4 they were glorious, even on the lowest setting.
Just sit in them and turn it on before you assume they're not working.

Like I said, I felt mine great on the lowest; the highest would freeze my a*s off in an instant.

You will not feel cold air coming out of cooled seats. The cool air cools the leather. They take 5 minutes to work, so they are ineffective for short trips. On longer trips they are wonderful. I had cooled seats on a $100k+ Range Rover that were noticeable inferior to the F150 seats.

Me and about 6 other people who have ridden in my truck have commented on how damn powerful the cooled seats are. They keep my fat *** cool and comfortable. Don't expect icicles to be hanging off your ****, because that's not the point of the cooled seats. They're meant to keep the seat reasonably cool and comfortable and help the seat and your skin breathe.

Having owned an '11 FX4 without them, they are hands down my favourite feature and I will never own another vehicle without them.

Had 'em in my '10 Taurus. Have 'em in my '13 FX4. Not sure I'd ever like to not have them ever again.

Mine work great. But maybe there are some performance parameters than can be used to check yours to see if they're working properly (?)

Re-reading your original post, are you basing this on by just putting your hand over them or actual use sitting on them? You won't feel much holding your hand over them.

I'll tell you this.
Having gone from the FX4 with them to a Fusion without, I miss them terribly.
