I can not use them in my truck, they get too cold and I am always sweating, the cold from the seats on my wet body gets me sick, so I can't use them. I didn't try them yet on my FX4, my 2011 Lariat had all leather seats and I couldn't use them, the FX4 has suede inserts, i am going to give it a try if it ever warms up here in NY. My wife just got a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and the controls say nothing about "air conditioned" seats, they call theirs "vented" yet the dealer kept describing the Grand Cherokee as having heated and cooled seats.

Talking Cooled seats!

One thing to remember that has not been mentioned yet is the fact that the seats will only cool when you turn on the A/C system along with the cooling feature on the seats. For those who may not know this. They will move air with the fan in the seats but only cool air when A/C is running. This is why it takes about 5 min or so to cool.
On the other hand, the heat setting on the seats is different, they will heat anytime right away regardless of the HVAC settings. Hope this helps someone.

You need to make sure the rear A/C vents are open and preferably blowing down at an angle toward the back of each seat. The intakes for the seat fans is at the bottom rear of the front seats so you need to make sure cool air is blowing in the direction of the intakes.

How much does this option cost from Ford?

I could really use a cooled drivers seat. Don't need the heat, just the cool. I'm sure it would cost a fortune and be a ton of work to have this done in the aftermarket.

i'd give up my nav before i gave up the cooled seats. they are an epic win for me who loves to drive with the windows down instead of the AC on
