I installed the Kicker kit (everything but the speakers) in my 13 SCrew and I agree that it’s a great addition for those want a little extra bump but have passed their “I need the boom boom” phase. I went with Pioneer door speakers and center speakers as I’ve always been impressed with Pioneer speakers.

You guys have completely sold me on the Kicker VSS full system. I wish I have known about it 4 years ago when I got my truck. I like the fact that it's a "stock" upgrade system. I didn't want hacked up aftermarket stuff.

Now to find the best deal and pony up some cash.

My girlfriend has a RAM 1500 with the factory Alpine system. So I'm hoping this kicker upgrade will sound similar to it because she's always bugging me how crappy my current truck sounds.

Levittown showed it at $880. As soon as I emailed them to find out about shipping it jumped to $964. Hmm. Wish I had the $450 group buy price you guys did a few years back.

Wow! These either got really expensive or the deal a couple of years ago was great. I put the Soundstage in mine back when there was a dealer/vendor around that was selling them for about $380 (can't remember who it was though). Easily the best upgrade for the money that I've done. I'm still impressed with how much it improved the sound. It's not door rattling sound and not going to impress the car next to you at a stop light, but still light years better than the basic paper speakers and was pretty easy to install.

Beau at Rogel Ford was a vendor on a few sites and had bought a crap load and sold them just above cost. I remember he started at $375 and sold the last ones for $499. I think $900 is still a decent price but I wouldn't pay more than that. Beau's deal was spectacular.

I'll try giving Beau a call at Rogel ford. See if he has any left.

Beau doesn't work there anymore and he sold out quite awhile ago.

Yeah, I called and found that out. I can't find any dealers that have it in stock and am getting mixed answers on whether or not it can be ordered.

I guess my other option is to find the Kicker PF150C11 package and get that. I think it's basically the same minus the 4 door speakers. I'd have to buy those separately.

NOTE: Some dealers might still have the VSS SoundStage in stock, call around and see, worst thing they can say is no.

UPDATE: found it on Amazon.ca https://www.amazon.ca/Genuine-Ford-D.../dp/B010MQFVU0
why would these not work in a reg cab? I am going to upgrade my system but do not want to cut a damn wire. PNP is the ticket.
