If I remember correctly the BL3Z-18808-G and DL3Z-18808-A were almost identical. The difference being the included speakers, but I might be mistaken, it's been three years since I installed mine. Let them know when you call and they will make sure you get the correct one.

It looks like the G is for radios without the 4.2 or 8 inch screen but still includes the speakers.

For $900 I think it is worth it. Any more than that and I don't think I would swing it. I got in on one of Beau's deals so I am definitely happy with the purchase. That and the Advent navi unit for $199 and I am set.

Thanks, I will call and confirm.

The BL3Z-18808-G says without 4.2 or 8 inch display and the DL3Z-18808-A with 4.2 or 8 inch display. I have no display so my truck should be the BL3Z-18808-G.Not sure what the difference would be.Maybe something with the wiring harness. They both come with the same components. (4 speakers, sub, amp)Also both have the same suggested retail price.

It's been three years since I installed mine, I remember researching them both, and they would both work with my 4.2" screen, as Ford did not change the speaker connectors between 2011-2014 for different radios, but I may be wrong, That's why it's always a good idea to check with the dealer before buying a part, they usually have the latest and greatest info, better than what a random dude on the internet remembers from three years ago!

I ended up with the DL3Z-18808-A, because a vendor on here was offering them for $400 shipped!

I remember Beau saying something about this as well. Availability and cost may be the deciding factor between the two part numbers.

I paid $380 for mine, just the sub and for a supercab back in 2014, they have the same unit but the price went up a little to $667.

Amazon Amazon

The supercab box is bigger than the screw which makes no sense because screw has a lot more room under the seat than the scab. I imagine the larger box also delivers harder bass, the wiring should be the same but you may need to fab some brackets to mount it.

Supercab:

Supercrew:

They both use the same 10" speaker so you can easily see how much bigger the scab box is.
