I had to make this month's tough choice. Upgrade the stereo, or the new ping g30 driver.
Decided on the driver, but i got a good deal so the kicker is getting ordered in three weeks.
The cold weather will be here in the blink of an eye, and i refuse to to freeze my b@@[s off, while i'm installing it.

Agreed.

There's video tutorials on the Youtube now though that I watched and it was waaaaay easier. Great system guys, definitely recommend it for the cost Beau Rogel is selling them for in the vendor section.

Definitely a steal.

I bought the FULL system, but honestly guys I don't think the speakers in the doors do a whole lot better then the factory mid grade one's I had. It's so cheap tho.......it's nice to have spares!!!!

Reviving an old thread, and I may or may not have double posted this question in a similar VSS thread

Wondering if anyone that has the Substage installed can chime in and tell me the behavior of your bass settings. Adjusting the setting up and down definitely changes the sub bass however, if I turn the bass ALL the way down in the settings, the sub STILL puts out a good amount of bass. I would expect that if I turn the bass all the way down that the sub wouldn't have any audio. Would someone with the substage be able to let me know if this is normal?

Thanks

Your treble, mid and bass settings are attenuation. You are increasing or decreasing the VOLUME of certain preset frequencies by a certain db amount with each number up or down. You are not cancelling out any frequencies.

Thanks! That actually makes sense.
