Default Keyless Engtry Code...

Please help! I recently purchased a 2013 F-150 Lariat. I wanted to change the keyless code, but I deleted the original code and now I cannot create a new code. Is there any way to restore the original code? Thanks!

You cannot delete the factory code, only a custom code. You can only have 1 custom code. The factory code is needed to set a custom code. The factory code can be obtained by reading your owners manual.

Not sure where in the manual it states the original door code....

You should have a small card in with your manual, if that's gone, Google is your friend and YouTube. I took my right kick panel off to find it. I'm not sure if yours would be in the same place.

It won't be in the owners manual unless it came with the little card from the previous owner. It will be on the control module which is by the passenger side kick panel. Pull off the little door by the kick panel and look in there for the code on a little sticker. Some good youtube links showing this. I also found it easier to use the control panel than the mft to program. The mft kept messing up for me when I tried. The code would not take at the door pad.

If you have 2 keys insert the admin key into the ignition and turn to on
shut off and stick 2nd key in and turn to on..factory code should be displayed

I didn't say the code is IN the manual- I said it can be obtained by READING the manual.

On a '13, you don't need to go looking for the magic sticker. The post above by 05 super states how it's done. It's displayed right on the instrument cluster. No pulling of interior panels needed.
