Default Keeping DRLs on with parking lights using DRL-1 kit

I would like to use the DRL-1 Kit by Web Electric (as mentioned on this forum) which uses the turn signal filament for DRLs. Since I have the mirror reflector LED mod which turn on as parking lights as well as turn signals using the iamsuperbleeder bridge rectifier design, I would like to have my mirror LEDs on along with the DRLs.
First I wonder if my mirror LEDs will turn on with this module as they are using a feed from the turn signals.
If not would it be possible to keep the DRL's on when the parking lights are turn on from the headlight switch?
Would running both filaments on the 3157 bulb all the time cause it to overheat?

Just to update, I've finished installing the DRL-1 module.
First of all it does not affect the operation of the mirror reflector mod.
My mirror reflector leds serve as running lights as well as turn signals (alternating when parking lights on). They can be wired in a way so they can be used as DRL's so they are on along with the front turn signal filament. But at some point I may want them off as DRLs. So I've installed a switch to disable them instead of having to mess with the wires again.
To answer my second question, No, we cannot run the parking light filament along with turn signal as DRL, as the bulb will get too hot with continuous use.

Thanks for the information on that. It's strange that we can't use the turn signal as drl... the 13+ models seem to do that.

That's is correct the 13-14 can you the blinker as a DRL. I believe the reason for this is due to the addition of the HIDs on the 13s.

The 13-14s with OEM HIDs can only you the blinkers as DRLs. If you have a 13-14 with OEM Halogens then you can have the headlights OR blinker as the DRL.
