Default Keep or Scrap Appearance Package Vinyl

Hey Guys,

I am torn on whether or not I should remove the black vinyl going down either side of the truck. Has anyone else with the appearance package removed theirs? If so, do you mind sharing some pictures?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I vote for leaving it on as it looks good and sets yours apart from the stock FX4 crowd.

i would leave it with that colour. and then get the 20 inch rims for the non appearence package. then they would match the paint on your truck.

I wasn't a fan of the stripe when I first saw it in Ford's marketing photos, but it's grown on me. I see so few of them on the road, they look good and do catch your eye. I would keep it.

It's funny you mention that about the gray 20 inch rims. When I bought the truck a few weeks ago, part of the deal that I negotiated along with a tonneau cover and bed extender, was to swap out the black 20's for the gray ones. I when I went back a few days later to have them changed, after seeing the gray ones on the truck, I asked for the black ones back. I have since tinted the front 2 windows (35%), installed the black tonneau cover, had a black spray in liner installed. I think with all of those addtions, plus the black running boards along with the all black interior, the black wheels help tie everything together.
