I say keep it. I liked the stripe so much I had one applied to my XLT to set it apart from all the rest. I also had them replace the tan 4x4 label and had the windows tinted. It definitely sets mine apart from all the other white F-150's on the road.

That is where I am torn. Somedays I like it, others I wonder how it would look without it. I do like how my truck stands out from the rest in my area. However, if I removed it, i think my black stock wheels will still set it apart. I have not seen any of those around either.

It is better to remove them sooner rather than later, as the finish fades with age but not under the decal, which protects the finish from the sun. Waiting may leave a ghost image.

That de-decaled red truck looks really good!

That is what I originally thought too, but my truck is always parked in the garage, and other than on the weekends, I rarely drive it since I work out of my house. This should buy me a little more time to decide I think.

The current stripe is cool for the FX2 street type trucks, but the FX4 warrants a graphic more 'off-road' flavored similar to the raptor graphics..
Nice truck!

The red FX4 would look good with a flat red FX4 app. stripe as would the white.

Anyone have a truck like this?

I say keep it. I'm not a fan of decals on my vehicles but the black and grey really compliment each other. Not so much a fan of them on brighter colored trucks where the decal contrasts the paint color

I just purchased mine this past saturday. I will keep mine (sterling gray) but I do worry about detailing it in the future. Using a DA polisher may lift the edges.

I wonder how/if ford would handle warranty claims in a few years should they start lifting/peeling.

@Pal216 - Ask yourself what caught your eye first about the truck you picked and why you picked it. Did you pick that truck because of the stripe or the wheels? Did that truck just happen to be the truck that had the options that you wanted such as engine/rear end combo? Was the color?

How much did it set you back to add the stripe to the truck? I'm thinking of doing this to my 2012 FX2.... Looks good
