Default K&n 63-2581

For the guys that did this mod do you really notice a difference in pickup? And will it void the 3-36 warranty?

I've been running the K&N on my 2010 5.4 for the last couple of years without issue. I take the truck to my dealership for all service and never a problem
I do think it improves throttle response but probably no noticeable increase in HP or mileage

I have not installed this, however I probably will. I couple observations from a friend of mine who has installed this.

1 - Mileage
Hard to be scientific about this, but he claims 1-2.5 mpg increase.

2 - Throttle Response
Yup, noticeable.

3 - HP
Not sure.

4 - Sound
It sounds a bit nicer than stock.

I get my K&N tomorrow, I'll let you know how it works out. I got a drop in exact replacement K&N but got the CAI as a gift. So anyone in need of a K&N drop in with only 100 miles on it, PM me!
