Just went for maintenance yesterday and she's got a recall
 

FYI my 2010 STX SCAB has a recall. They have to replace the door handles because the springs may break. Parts are supposed to be in next quarter. Now that I got you all nervous, have a nice day!

awesome. I'll be in the shop tomorrow having them chase down a few things for me... guess I'll ask them about it while I'm there.

They have a recall on this now huh? Had mine break on my drivers door back in November I think. You could open the door from the outside but not the inside. It was covered under warranty and I went on my way. I think theres a few others on here who have had this happen also as I think I posted about mine back then.

It's pretty loud when it happens.

Please ask your dealer for the TSB # related to this recall, and post it here if you can? thanks in advance!!!!:thumbsup:

I'll see if it's on the receipt when I get home. I know they documented it on my paperwork, I just don't have it here with me now.

It actually caught me by surprise. Now I'm wondering if I can just pay the difference though to get the keyless entry pad one since I wanted to upgrade eventually anyways.

If it's the inside handle as indicated above then probably not.

It's not like a wheel is going to come off :unsure:...

Sweet, same truck and will be dropping mine off for service this next week and now can get it knocked out in one whack! lol
