Default Just pulled the trigger on a 4" lift.

Here's my truck with a 2.5" autospring spacer and a 3" rear block. I get a knocking sound on occasion at full wheel lock and I am not having it. Plus, I'd like a little more lift up front. I went with a 4" rough country. Everyone I see on this forum gives them a good review, especially if you are not going hard off road.

Of course I'll be updating with a pic when it's on. It will probably be about a month. My mechanic buddy is going to hook me up on a weekend. I was just so excited I had to share now.

*I need to update my pics. I dropped the step bars for a power step. It really changes the look.

What size tires are you currently running? Should look great with the 4".

Nice truck.
I'm also debating on purchasing the same kit from rc, just haven't found in depth reviews about the ride on the forum, might be searching the wrong things.

305/55/20 Nitto G2 xl. They are 4 ply and have such a nice ride. I did not want to change the tires for any reason. Thanks.

I used the RC 4" lift on my truck and the suspension ride quality is not changed from OEM. When you start changing struts/springs etal is when ride quality goes out the window, comparing to stock that is.

Default Just pulled the trigger on a 4" lift.

I'm leaning toward this lift also as I have already upgraded the shocks with the Bilstein 5100's. Hate to toss them for the Ranchos. I don't mud the truck, just looking for extra ground clearance for cutting fire wood and clearing snow drifts.

I like the price of the rc lift but do not like the shocks it comes with nor the use of the factory shocks.
What I'm wondering is if they can still be swapped out with let's say icons or foxes and improve ride quality.
Also, for those running it, can you still use the factory 20s with this kit?

Anyone have any experience with procomps 4" lift?

For me it's perfect. Like I said, I am not an off road guy. I like the way the truck drives stock. I already have a 3" block on the back and the rear setup works for me. I will most likely not even be using their shocks. For the front, keeping the stock shocks with everything dropped will work just fine for me.

If I wanted a different ride than stock I would probably have gone for a different lift.

Good news, I went through the boxes yesterday and everything is in there. With any luck it will get on this week.

I'm with you on this one. To me the factory shocks barely control the truck at stock height. Can't image how 4" additional height would affect them. I have the Bilstein 5100 on the truck now and will use these with the lift. May set the front shocks at 3/4" lift just to firm things a little bit. I plan to order 5100 rears for a lifted truck then.
