Default Center jumper seat/console switch

Hi all,

I am interested in possibly swithching out my '13 XLT SCrew center jump seat with a center console and am in search of advice from anyone that has done the switch or researched doing the switch. I don't want a center console with a shifter (have column mounted shifter) and don't want to lose the use of the flip down drawer where the USB and power charger are located at the bottom of the dash just above the floor. Anyone have any thoughts on if this is possible, either using something aftermarket or swapping from another f150 from the current gen or prior? Any help or ideas are appreciated.

There's a thread dedicated to it on here. I did it yesterday on my '13 xlt SCab. I have a console from I think an stx as its lid was black and not grey... but it might vary that way by years. An STX or XLT has the console you need as its not a flow through to the dash. I moved the seats out of the way. .. removed the 4 bolts in the jumpseat and unplugged the 12 volt adapter. Dropped the console in place( fits the jumpseat floor bracket perfectly) and drilled 4 pilot holes for self tapping screws to go into the aluminum bracket. Plugged in the 12 volt adapter, threw in the screws and voila. Center console and no more jumpseat.

And the threads are up top now.

Thanks guys! I will be looking into the swap...If I am able to find a console for a reasonable price. Any idea if anything pre-09 consoles will fit the 09-14's, found a couple to fit the 09-14's on eBay but they both want $400-$500 for them...too much for me.

The going rate on those things is $350-500. Pre-'09 might fit but if I remember correctly there are issues. I looked for months for mine. Found it locally for $300. Look on Craigslist.

Pulled the trigger on a "new" console from an eBay seller, claims it came out of a '12 with 20 miles on the clock. Was able to get for $360 including shipping. Good/fair price right...? Also picked up some plastidip today to take the chrome factory wheels on my Oxford white xlt to matte black.. may do some badges too. Thanks for the input guys!
