Okay, not all of you, but many seem to be really against the ecoboost.

Seems almost like the guys that bought 5.0 are trying to convince themselves they made the right choice.

Eco guys seem more like, "Meh, both motors are great"

5.0 guys seem to start goofy arguments, similar to what im doing now...

Now that 5.0 specific issues and engine replacements are starting to creep up, will it kick these guys down a bit?

Just curious guys, tell me what you think

i think it boils down to some of them are the a fullsize truck needs to be a v8 kind of people...granted i feel the same but i wouldnt have an issue buying an ECO especially after i drove one

But you dont see on the "My 5.0 is knocking" threads ecoboost guys saying "you should have got an ecoboost"


I just wonder are these guys just jelous?

Nobody buys a truck motor 'cause it sounds cooler...

Im a 5.0 guy that says, meh they are both good engines. I just didnt trust the boost here in az with the heat. I went with the kiss engine. Keep It Simple Stupid!

Both motors are great... I just want the one that moves my Supercrew faster and more efficiently.. That would be the Eco!

Its the Hatfields and McCoys, this feud will last as long as theres an Ecoboost or 5.0 engine on the street. Its in the Ford owners manual.
