Default Just a Little Upgrade

Well, Hello everyone. I haven't really posted anything it quite some time. Been on and off checking things out but anyway I wanted to share my latest upgrade. Ive had my 2011 Super Cab XLT now for 7 years. It came to me with brand new Hankook tires. I wasn't excited about them but they have lasted over 70,000 miles.

So I just had them replaced and all new brakes too at the same time. Stock is 235/75 but I wanted the wheel wells filled in a bit better than that so I went with 255/70 They are just wide enough to extend the sidewalls outside of the fender but the tread (that slings the mud) is still within the body.

I am very happy with the look and the ride.

Thanks, but the 255/70 is two tenths of an inch higher than the 235/75. Isint that close enough?

I don't think it will make a significant difference. The indicator is down from 19.8 to o 19.6 since the tires, but it has varied that much before.

They are surely not much wider but wider means more rolling resistance.
