My DuraFlap mud flaps are the only full size mud flaps that do not require drilling holes in the metal of your truck. That is important to not only protect your truck panels and undercarriage, but also to avoid rust spots in the fenderwell lip. they keep the chips out of my boat also.
You can get them without the stainless steel weights, or with. they are just stiff enough to not fly up behind the truck as it moves down the road.

Default Mud flap/wheel well liner gap

Here's how I fixed mine. Tractor Supply aluminum sheet (2), a little cutting, blind rivit attach, & paint.

Here's how I fixed the gap between liner and mudflap. Tractor Supply aluminum sheet (2), a little trimming with metal shears, blind rivits at top, attach to mudflaps at bottom, & paint.
