its eats up the gas tank/lines faster. its beer!!! or because of the alcoholic.

b) Are you going to miss 3 to 5 MPHs?? Really? Ethanol has less BTUs per volume compare to the same volume of gas. Yes, E85 will have less energy available to use that un E'ed gas of the same volume.

Hug a tree. No sense running into 1.

I disagree. I have the 4.6L 3V V8 in my STX and it doesn't run E85. That was a consideration when I bought it, but my vinyl flooring was the deciding factor.

Current research prepared by Argonne National Laboratory (a U.S. Department of "Energy Laboratory), indicates a 38% gain in the overall energy input/output equation for the corn-to-ethanol process. That is, if 100 BTUs of energy is used to plant corn, harvest the crop, transport it, etc., 138 BTUs of energy is available in the fuel ethanol. Corn yields and processing technologies have improved significantly over the past 20 years and they continue to do so, making ethanol production less and less energy intensive."

A whole 38 percent incresase. Well now, thats one efficient process. IMO not worth the effort when considering all the chemicals used to produce corn and increase in price of that commodity. Plenty of good old fashioned dino oil to go around if the tree huggers let us go after it. Drive a Prius, I need your gas.

I personally will never run E-85 in my truck.

Are you sure about this? My gas '10 SLT has a big no-E85 sticker next to where the gas cap would be.

No offense PS, but I never quite understood how somone could tell someone else what is a waste of money for that person. All things considering it may not be not the smartest financial move, but it's only a waste if that person considers it so. I'm sure those in the financial and asset aquiring field might feel that the purchase of a new, gas-guzzling vehicle to haul our man toys around with is a waste of money. But I digress...

Lol, sorry PS...just busting your *****.

Yeah OP, just buy 87/89 octane and call it a day.

Does it have this on the tail gate?

If it's a 2010 F150, then I bet it does!
