Default Just got Sirius for $87.32 for 1 year

Here is what I did.

Free trial just ran out.

Called number on the letter they sent out.

Let the Sales person run thru the options.

He told me they could do $8.99 per month.

I told him I got a letter in the mail for $77 year, siruis everything. I lied

He asked for my radio code, I gave it to him ... he said that yes I was eligible for the $77 year plan.

I asked to be direct billed for an additional $2, no credit card on file.

So for 1 year, service and taxes, royalties, $87.32.

Try it, you'll like it.

That sounds like a pretty good deal, but be sure to check the package that you got. They may have cut out some stuff like listening to sirius over the internet, and some of the better channels like Stern or something. I'm thinking about doing an addon to my parents account or a friend..

I did the same. Left my 6 month trial expire. Week or so later received a letter in the mail for 1/2 off the year. All channels included.

my trial has been over for 2 1/2 months now and they are hounding me like crazy, things in the mail a couple phone calls a week, it is freakin unreal. Anyway I just got a thing in the mail saying $20 for 5 months, I was going to call and say $50 for a year and see where that got me but haven't yet. Also anyone that does pay for it, NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD ##### EVER! There is a lawsuit agaist them because of so many people that got unathorized charges

Same here. They have hounded me like mad and I would have already taken the deal but the sound quality just plain sucks. Music sounds like 64kb MP3's to me. About all I listened to during my trial was talk. I have since loaded a 32g thumb drive using the USB2 port and to be honest I haven't missed Sirius all that much. Still wish I had them for some of the talk radio channels but that's about all.

it's very simple to cancel just say you sold the vehicle.

I didn't realize they call to get you to renew. I had a VW GTI new back in 08 and never got one phone call from Sirius when the trial was about to expire. They sent me a couple letters and I liked what they had to offer, but not at the price they wanted. I was totally content to ride around listening to my ipod and didn't renew it. I listen to it quite a bit in my truck but don't feel like paying for radio.
