Traded my 2010, 5.4L three months ago for a 2011 Ecoboost, and love this truck!! My old truck was SCREW and the Eco is a SCAB, and I do miss the 4 full doors from time to time, but the performance and feel of the Eco out weigh my feelings for the old truck, which I loved too. Best of luck with your Ecoboost....I think you'll love it too!!

At that point, a tune, CAC and down pipe are your best bang for the buck. Just the tune will leave a stain in your shorts. Congrats, nice truck!
is it a pain in the rear to change plugs on the Eco? I know when I changed them in my 04 I had to borrow one of the techs tools at my job cause they told me the plugs would break got lucky and none did. Also had the edge CS in my old truck but I've been reading a lot of good things about the livernoise tunes. I like the fact that the edge CS has the gauge displays.

Like you, I traded in a 04 S-crew that I had done up like I wanted it. I still see it in town from time to time. I wish I could have just transplanted the Eco drivetrain in my 04 and had the best of both worlds as I prefer the styling of the 04-08 trucks. Mine will be going to his shop for the tune in the spring after I get a few more miles on it. Enjoy your truck. Its beautiful.
what company are you going with for the tunes? These engines have so much potential it's crazy. I really like the truck definitely will look into everything you said. Yea my 04 is about 40min south of me I keep in touch with the owner he gives me a call or text when he does something new to the truck.

yea I had a 5.4 in my 04 too. Had some pep in its step with programer, tbs, intake, and exhaust but my Eco is so much quicker it's crazy. Bought it completely stock from original owner and did everything I wanted to it, now it's time to start over lol.
