I don't see why the wheel size would matter at all. The tire size matters though. Anyway, the stock jack works fine on my '10 and I have 34.5" tires. I also carry a 2x12x12 to use as a base if I ever have to change a tire off road.

I posted pictures as evidence:

I've had to "field test" my jack due to a flat tire on the interstate (of course it was cold, snowy, and wet). The jack was extended pretty high, but worked as it was suppose to.

The hardest part was finding the jack (SCREW you need to lift the back seat up and pull the little organizer out. It's hidden to the side near the passanger seat).

CalChad, thanx 4 the pictures. I've "harvested" your front wheel pic to do a field test on mine mañana. Your FX std jack may be bigger'n mine tho. Tatunka, I'm placing the jack, just rearward of the wheel & lifting the outer edge of frame as per owners manual & the picture on the jack - not underneath in the control arm area

I guess I have always been doing it wrong according to the owners manual. I put the jack under the axle in the rear and under the control arm in the front. This way all lift is transmitted to the vehicle and the suspension is not drooping taking away lift from the jack.

I'll start a new thread if needed, but I'm freaken confused about where to put the jack for the FRONT tires.

There are two pictures attached:

1. The owners manual (isn't crystal clear to me) says to use the "frame rail".

2. Where the heck is the "frame rail"? See the arrows in my pictures, which are pretty far back compared to jacking up under the control arm. (Truck has skid plates.)

arrow A is the suspension cross member and arrow B is the sway bar. the frame rail is part of the main frame of the truck. the frame rails run the length of the truck, its the giant piece of steel that runs from the front bumper to the rear, theres one on each side of the truck.

Ah, of course "frame rail"..."frame" "rail".... "frame rail"... got it!!

I didn't expect the jack-up point for the front tires to be so high up! No wonder people tend to use the control arm - I'm sure I've done that too on other trucks.

I simply can not bring myself to put my floor jack under anything that is not level
