What do you guys think about the ADD Lite bumpers? I love the ADD Venom bumper's, but the price kind of turns me off. The NFabs are close to the design, but dislike how far they stick out.

Putting Venoms on mine but I really like the ADD lites. The best in that price range in my opinion. Nice they come set up for all those Duallys on top if that's what you're doing. I'm having to cut and weld a new top plate to do that on mine. My close second choice was the Rogue Racing bumper but still in the $1500 plus range. I thought the same thing about the Nfabs... Stick out too far.

FYI, I waited 8 weeks for mine and had to cut and reweld two light mounts that were way out of alignment.... about an inch!

This is a great thread! I am just about to embark on the project to build my own bumpers. After seeing the price(s) of aftermarket bumpers, it scared me into buying the 10ga steel plate to make my own. Being a welder and having the right equipment sure helps. I'm focusing on ADD's honey badger rear bumper (w/o storage pockets) as a base design.

But, to balance the argument, I'm not looking forward to the time I'm going to have to spend building it from scratch (design/fab). So, for some (many?), simply buying one may be the best option.

Build a mock up out of card board, you can trim and bolt it on to get a visual them in tape it and you have your templates.

Those were 295/55r20 on a "6 inch" lift. I have since gone to 295/65r20 and put a 4" block in the back so it won't be *** high.
