Default Iphone and SYNC issues resolved

This week I upgraded my iphone OS to ios4.2.1 and sync seems to work near perfectly now.

I was tired of using bluetooth and not getting the song titles and artists, but now its like my iphone and truck are one.

If you've been having any problems, be sure to update your iphone because they seem to have finally got it right.

My only issue, and its a minor one, is that when i replug my iphone into usb, my iphone automatically sets the audio output to bluetooth if bluetooth is connected to sync. You have to go into the ipod app and select audio output to dock connector and then it works fine. If you aren't getting any sound, this is probably why.

I have a brand new iPhone 4 with OS 4.2.1 and it still automatically starts playing songs as soon as the truck connects to the phone by bluetooth. I have to manually go to the iPod software and hit pause every time I startup the truck.

I was hoping the latest software release would fix that. No dice. Go into the Media Menu and select Sync Line In as the source. It will leave the iPod part of the iPhone alone.

i had that same problem before the latest update, but ever since updating to 4.2.1, the issue has gone away as far as I can tell

Me too. One nice change is that the ipod stops playing when you get out of the vehicle. It used to keep right on going!

How do you have song titles on the screen?? I've done the iOS update and have not seen the song info.

Thanks. I did try this actually, but it got complicated by the fact that I usually have my iPod Classic plugged into USB for music and my iPhone just sitting in one of the cup holders connected by Bluetooth for phone calls.
