Yep, have the same issues with the skipping. Ford knows about this, its all over the Sync forums.

It seems like Sync won't index all of my songs either. I always get the error message saying index error visit Sync blah blah blah.... Love Sync but these small problems are killing me.

I actually have to get a Blackberry for work so we'll see how that phone works.

Same issues here. I don't understand why, but I've had the truck for almost 3 mos now and it just started a few days ago. I didn't know this was possible until I noticed the little "play" triangle at the top of my iPhone...I opened up the iPod and noticed a song playing. Fiddled with the media and it started playing over the truck speakers. Cool feature, but I can't seem to control it. I don't remember upgrading any software or changing any setting either..seems to definitely have a mind of its own. I've also noticed the skipping issue. Wouldn't be a big deal, but it's killing my phone battery.

Gonna stay plugged in on this one....

My truck has all of the sudden decided that no Bluetooth device is active when I enter the truck. Have to search for my Iphone every time I start driving?? Was never a problem until about three days ago?

The usb wouldn't work after I made a call while listening to music. I'd have to unplug the usb and plug it in again. Starting over each time I made a call was a pain. I bought a portable hard drive and plugged that into usb2 to end the conflict permanently.

Islander, try a reboot on your phone. I had the same problem and after reboot it seems gone.

Mine does the same thing.

Iphone automatically starts playing a song via bluetooth.

Skips at the beginning of a song now.

Sucks because I have an Ipod classic that I listen to music with vice my I phone and just got a "USB Empty" message. Tried a nano, same thing, tried a thumb drive, same thing--master reset SYNC, same thing--reset my Ipod, same thing--USB Empty.

I have recently switched from my iphone 3gs to Verizon and the new Droid and it STILL does the same thing randomly. Very annoying. Always have to check my phone and see if it is playing because it don't matter if I am listening to Sirius or what the phone is still playing music silently just as my iPhone was doing.

Default Very Annoying

I have been dealing with this for over 2 months now. Tried several different things. Here's what I noticed. It all depends on what mode it was in when you last disconnected the iphone. It must save the last config.
If I stop playing it through sync and change it to Sat mode it seems to not automatically start the music. You have to play around with the sequence because I am not quite sure of the correct one right now. However, for the last week it is behaving and I have to figure out what sequence I used.
