Now all we need is somebody to make an in dash integration on the much smaller iPad!

Yes. I think this option is going to be a hit, much more affordable and the truck will not need to be modified nearly as much, If at all. My supplies should be landing within a couple of weeks.

I'm wondering if it will work with a standard double-din install kit? The screen size seems pretty similar to the double din radios.

I'm anticipating the metra dash kit with the insert molded in with bondo will make the opening around 8". A standard ford nav screen opening is perfect, however one of those panels are expensive and the climate controls won't fit.
